A laryngoscope is a medical device used primarily in anesthesia, emergency medicine, critical care, and ENT to visualize the larynx (voice box), vocal cords, and glottis. This enables insertion of endotracheal tubes (intubation), assessment of airway anatomy, etc. A “set” usually includes multiple blades, at least one handle, lighting/spare bulbs or LED parts, and sometimes a carrying case.
